Netflix goes down leaving thousands of users around the world unable to watch favourite shows on ALL streaming devices

Netflix is experiencing an outage affecting all of its streaming devices, it has confirmed.
Users on Twitter reported outages in the UK as well as Australia and the US, with affected devices including game consoles, Comcast's X1 and the web version of the service.
First reports of the outage surfaced on Twitter at around 10.50pm.
The company acknowledged the issue on Twitter as well as its website, telling users: "We are working to resolve the problem. We apologize for any inconvenience."
There is no word yet on what has caused the outage, or when it will be fixed.
The timing of the outage couldn't have been more ironic for the company: Netflix announced today that it's hiking its prices - and some of the new costs even started today.
Users are set to pay more to watch exclusive programmes such as Stranger Things and House of Cards.
But not every user will have to pay more to watch their favourite programmes.
It all depends on the type of subscription they have and, ultimately, the number of devices linked to their account, the Manchester Evening News reports.
The biggest increase will be £1 a month for the most expensive plan, while other users will see a 50p increase or no change at all.
California-based Netflix has more than 100million subscribers around the world and has grown in popularity thanks to hit programmes including Stranger Things, House of Cards, Master of None and The Crown.
With a growing audience and rising costs, the firm has decided to boost its prices for all but one of its subscription packages.
The increase will take effect for new subscribers starting today.
The Crown was recently nominated for an Emmy Award
Existing customers will get price change notifications starting from October 19 - and it may take a month from then to kick in.
They will be notified at least 30 days in advance, based on their billing cycle.
Netflix said there is no change to the 1S basic price plan, which charges £5.99 a month for one screen.
