Rumours dismissed of €38m bid for Chelsea and Arsenal transfer target video

Reports in the Italian press indicate that Paris Saint-Germain have made a bid for Olympique Lyonnais forwardAlexandre Lacazette.
The Gazzetta dello Sport [via Le 10 Sport] indicate that the reigning French champions have made an offer of €38m for the striker, who has courted considerable interest from various Premier League clubs this summer.
However, speaking to RMC [again via Le 10 Sport], an internal source at Lyon has denied that a bid has been received for the services of the France international.
“The club has absolutely not received an offer from Paris Saint-Germain for Lacazette,” the source began.
“It’s false.”
It remains to be seen whether PSG will yet make a bid for the 24-year-old frontman.
The club may well have need for offensive reinforcements this summer, with Zlatan Ibrahimovic [Mirror], Edinson Cavani [Express] and Ezequiel Lavezzi [Metro] each having been linked to the exit door at the Parc des Princes this summer.
PSG have also been linked with Borussia Dortmund’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who would likely be a more expensive option than Lacazette, according to France Football [via Le 10 Sport].
However, should the reigning French champions decide to move for the attacker—who bagged 27 goals and contributed six assists in 33 outings last term—they may yet face competition for his services.

Arsenal and Liverpool are both reportedly keen on the player, according to the ESPN.
Chelsea too are understood to be considering a move for the forward [Express], particularly having lost Didier Drogba this summer. The Pensioners may have three attackers in their ranks already, but Loic Remy has been linked with an exit from the club [Daily Mail], Diego Costa’s fitness remains a concern and it remains to be seen how things will unravel for Radamel Falcao following his underwhelming season with Manchester United last term.
